About Tennessee Trout Bum
At TN Trout Bum our primary business consists of Gheenoe boat sales, service, and rigging. We also produce our own line of precision tuned furled leaders for all types of fly fishing. The TN Trout Bum Furl-Master 1 is the world’s first infinitely variable precision furled leader machine and was designed and built in our facility. The TN Trout Bum Spider custom rod building lathe was also designed and is produced in our facility.
Our machine shop is developing and promoting electric propulsion systems that are clean, quiet and inexpensive to operate. Quiet electric motors allow for a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
We carry Gheenoe boats exclusively. For over 30 years the Gheenoe has excelled in performing as a canoe but without sacrificing stability. It allows us to stand and cast without fear of tipping over. We are specialists in Gheenoe rigging and repair. If you want to talk “Gheenoe”, we are here for you.
A frequent comment by some potential customers is about the weight of a Gheenoe over a lighter canoe. Our answer is rock solid and stable. A canoe just doesn't have the stability in the water that the Gheenoe offers. We prefer a few extra pounds loading and unloading our boat over fretting about a canoe turnover the entire trip. Many valuable items have been lost in canoe turnover situations, situations that a Gheenoe would ease through.
We believe in using the best, and we are offering what we use. Our R&D department is constantly working to improve our line of products. When we’re not field testing that is.
